As wise Master of the Louisville Chapter of the Rose Croix, I bring you greetings! The fraternity of Freemasons is one of my great loves in my life. Being a part of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in the Valley of Louisville, is one of my greatest passions. It is an intregal part of the Masonic Fraternity that offers something for all Masons. I encourage you to become and remain active.

On June 9, 2007 we had a super reunion, with 20+ brothers attaining the 32nd Degree. It was not only a special event for the class members but also for the many brothers that devoted their time and talent to make it a success.

I wan't to personally thank our Junior Past Wise Master, Bro. Keith A. Hedgespeth, 32nd degree KCCH, (33rd degree designee) for personally providing the 18th degree lapel pins that has become a tradition for him. It has been a privilege for him to present the pins in the past, and he has asked to continue the tradition through my tenure, and I have graciously accepted his generous offer. Thanks, Keith.

For any of the bretheren who may not be aware, it is the duty of the Rose Croix to conduct the funeral services for our deceased bretheren when a request is made by the survivors. It is a beautiful and very meaningful ceremony. I urge any of you that would desire this service at the time of your passing, to let the proper loved ones know as you pre-plan for these inevitable events.

I urge each of our bretheren who are not active in the Scottish Rite to become active. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. We have light meals at 6:30pm and conduct our business at 7:30pm. Throughout the year we have several evenings for family and friends. These times are always a success! Are you missing out?

Let's meet there often! Travel well, and God bless!
